Open Objects
Jonathan Muecke
Jonathan Muecke resists standard divisions between design, art and architecture, instead focusing on refined forms that investigate notions of positive and negative space, positional relationships to structures and the innate desire to read notions of functionality into objects that relate to human scale.
His design practice tests these ideas through a continued lineage of exploration in his 'Open Objects’.
Open objects is the first solo exhibition by Jonathan Muecke at Tile Blush, and part of an ongoing series of exhibitions with the same title. The show presents two new objects alongside new variants of previous work.
